Curtis Jones

Vice President

Curt Jones is a cornerstone of InterMountain Beef and the driving force behind our sister company, Roost Potato Co. As a third-generation owner—working alongside his brother, Cevin—Curt carries on the family legacy with pride, passion, and a deep commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture.


Curt’s farming journey began in 1993, working side by side with his dad, Calvin Jones. After graduating from the University of Idaho in 1994 with a bachelor’s in Ag Systems Management, Curt dedicated his life to the farm and feedlot, growing Roost Potato Co into a powerhouse operation producing potatoes, feed corn, alfalfa, barley, dry beans, and triticale. He’s always researching and adopting innovative, environmentally friendly practices—making thoughtful changes that add up to a positive impact on the land and community.


A devoted family man, Curt is the proud dad of two boys and one girl. When he’s not overseeing fields or strategizing for the future, you’ll find him dirt biking (he’s even earned a #10 National Award in the National Hare and Hound open A class!), traveling the world, or spending quality time with his family. Curt is also an avid churchgoer and brings his Christian values into every aspect of his life and work.


Curt’s lifelong dedication to agriculture, his leadership in sustainable practices, and his passion for feeding the world make him an invaluable part of the InterMountain Beef family.
