Kolby Talbott

Dr. Kolby Talbot is the go-to expert for all things animal health at InterMountain Beef. Kolby’s journey with us began back in 2015, when he completed his internship here during his very first year of vet school. He went on to graduate from Washington State University with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, after earning his Bachelor’s in Animal Dairy and Veterinary Science from Utah State in 2014.

Kolby brings deep expertise, genuine care, and a practical, hands-on approach to our feedlot’s veterinary protocols. As our main vet, he’s instrumental in ensuring the health and performance of our cattle, working closely with our team to maintain the highest standards.

Outside of work, Kolby is all about adventure and family.

He’s a proud dad to two girls (ages 9 and 6), and when he’s not on the yard, you’ll find him hunting, camping, boating, riding horseback, ranching on the side, or just making memories with his family.

Kolby’s blend of medical knowledge, agricultural passion, and approachable leadership makes him an invaluable asset to the InterMountain Beef team.
